On July 22nd, 2024, the Worcester Police Vice Squad had a search warrant for a black BMW and a Florence St address. At about 8 AM, officers observed the target of the warrant, fifty-three-year-old Natasha Perry, exist the residence and enter her vehicle. Officers followed the vehicle, before making the decision to stop it at the intersection of Chandler and Irving St. Officers detained Ms. Perry while they searched the vehicle and residence.
Officers located what appeared to be a Masterpiece Arms MAC-10-style machine gun, along with a box of ammunition and an extended magazine. In addition, they located a large amount of what appeared to be crack cocaine, with paraphernalia and packaging materials. Ms. Perry does not have a license to carry firearms or a machine gun license. She was placed under arrest and is charged with Possession of a Machine Gun, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking in Class B 37-99 Grams, Use of a Firearm in a Felony, Improper Storage of a Firearm, and Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm.

No tour of duty is routine, especially when officers are executing search warrants to rid our neighborhoods of guns and drugs. I would like to thank the officers for their professionalism and dedication to getting guns off the streets and keeping the community safe.” said Interim Chief Saucier.
