On July 20th, 2024, at about 10:45 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Crompton Park for a reported armed robbery of an individual. After investigating, officers determined that a male was walking his dog in the park when he was robbed at knifepoint by a male and a female. Detectives began the follow up investigation, and applied for arrest warrants for twenty-three-year-old Jaheim Watters of Boys and Girls Club Way and nineteen-year-old Katherine Leonard of Tacoma St for Armed Robbery.
On July 22nd, other Worcester Police officers were at the courthouse for unrelated cases when their attention was drawn to a loud verbal argument between several people. When officers walked over to investigate, they observed Jaheim Watters and Katherine Leonard. They were both placed under arrest for their Armed Robbery arrest warrants.
