On July 22nd, 2024, at about 3:15 AM, Worcester Police officers were on patrol in the area of Castle Park. The park is closed from the time of 10 PM to 5 AM, with numerous signs posted. Officers observed a small group of five individuals standing together in the park. As officers approached, the group began to walk away. An officer recovered approximately twenty grams of what appeared to be fentanyl from one of the females, identified as forty-year-old Lynn O’Brien of Cambridge St.
Ms. O’Brien was placed under arrest. She is charged with Trespassing and Trafficking in Fentanyl over 10 Grams.
