On December 3rd, 2024, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Kingsbury St. At about 12:30 PM, they observed two individuals who were on foot. One man made a phone call and gave what appeared to be paper currency to the other man. Shortly after this occurred, a Honda pulled up to the corner and one of the men entered the parked vehicle. The man exited the vehicle, and inspected what appeared to be a small bag in his hand.
Officers stopped both men on foot and recovered what appeared to be crack cocaine. Other officers stopped the Honda, and recovered what appeared to be crack cocaine and what appeared to be fentanyl. The operator, forty-one-year-old Diony Vincente-Garcia of Chandler St, was placed under arrest and charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance, Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute (fentanyl), and Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute.
