On August 16th 2022, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Park Ave after receiving complaints about street-level drug sales. At about 11:40 AM, officers observed an interaction between the occupants of a Toyota and a blue van that they believed to be a drug sale in the parking lot of CVS. Officers stopped both vehicles and located a bag of suspected fentanyl on the operator of the Toyota.
After stopping the operator of the vehicle, identified as Jasaniris Dejesus, thirty-two-years-old of Outlook Drive, officers located several bags of suspected fentanyl. Ms. Dejesus was placed under arrest and is charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl over 200 Grams and Distribution of a Class A Substance.
