On June 17th 2024, Worcester Vice Squad officers were conducting drug enforcement in the area of Main and King St. At about 8:30 AM, officers observed a group huddled in an alcove. One man appeared to be loading a crack pipe and began smoking from it.
The officers approached the group, and one woman, identified as forty-six-year-old Lillian Salgado of Worcester, attempted to flee. Officers followed Ms. Salgado and detained her. They located twelve bags of what appeared to be fentanyl and crack cocaine on her person. She was placed under arrest for Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine with intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class B Substance, and Resisting Arrest. Officers arrested four additional individuals for possession offenses and arrest warrants.
