On April 10th 2023, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Vice Squad possessed a search warrant for a Bluff St address and a black Jeep. At about 9:25 AM, officers observed forty-seven-year-old Ali Alexander, the target of the warrant, leave his Bluff St residence. Officers detained Mr. Alexander, who attempted to pull away from them, and searched a bag on his person. The bag contained approximately 110 grams of what appeared to be fentanyl and 143 grams of what appeared to be cocaine. Inside the vehicle, officers recovered multiple bags of what appeared to be Oxycodone pills, for which Mr. Alexander did not have a prescription, and an additional bag of what appeared to be cocaine.
Mr. Alexander does not have a license to carry firearms or an FID card. Mr. Alexander was placed under arrest for Trafficking a Class A Substance 100-199 Grams, Trafficking in a Class B Substance 100-199 Grams, Trafficking in a Class A Substance 18-36 Grams, and Resisting Arrest.
