On April 10th 2023 at about 3:20 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to 427 Park Ave for a report of a commercial break in progress. Officers received information that a male had broken into the business and was seen inside. Upon arrival, officers noticed that the back door had been forced open.
The first responding officer observed a male, later identified as Eduardo Duran, forty-one-years-old of Haverhill, leaving the building. Mr. Duran was holding a pry bar, which he tossed when he saw the officer. Mr. Duran took off running and officers pursued him. Mr. Duran ran through backyards, and officers eventually caught up to him and brought him to the ground, where he was placed under arrest.
Mr. Duran is charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering during the Nighttime for a Felony, two counts of Possession of a Burglarious Instrument, Vandalism, Trespass, and Resisting Arrest.
