On April 11th 2023, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers had a search warrant for a Jefferson St apartment. At about 8 AM, officers observed fifty-three-year-old Antonio Taylor, the target of the warrant, leave his apartment and enter his vehicle. Mr. Taylor also had an active warrant for his arrest. Officers followed the vehicle and stopped Mr. Taylor at a nearby store. Officers placed Mr. Taylor under arrest, and located a large amount of what appeared to be crack cocaine from his person.
Officers entered the residence and located drug packaging materials and a loaded firearm. Mr. Taylor does not have a license to carry firearms. He is charged with Trafficking in a Class B Substance, his arrest warrant, Firearm Violation with 3 Prior Violent/Drug Crimes, Use of a Firearm while Committing a Felony, Improper Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card (Subsequent Offense), and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
