On July 11th 2024 at about 9:15 PM, officers assigned to the Summer Impact program were following up with a car break that had been previously reported in the area of Hyannis Place. After an investigation, officers developed probable cause that Albert Kariuki, nineteen-years-old of Orton St, had broken into the vehicle and stolen from it. They searched the area for Mr. Kariuki unsuccessfully.
At about 12:30 AM, they locate Mr. Kariuki and placed him under arrest for Breaking and Entering During the Nighttime into a Vehicle.
