On July 10th, 2024, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers had a search warrant for an Elliot St residence. At about 4:40 PM, they observed the target of the warrant, thirty-three-year-old Patrick Butts, exit the residence. They detained Mr. Butts and entered the residence.
In the residence, officers located what appeared to be cocaine, counterfeit Oxycodone pills, methamphetamine pills, powdered fentanyl, marijuana, scales, and packaging materials. Mr. Butts was placed under arrest and is charged with Trafficking in a Class A Substance 100-199 Grams (fentanyl and counterfeit oxycodone), Trafficking over 200 Grams in Cocaine, and Trafficking in a Class B Substance 18-36 Grams (counterfeit Adderall pills, methamphetamine), and Possession of a Class D Substance with Intent to Distribute.
