On January 9th 2023 at about 7:35 AM, a Worcester Police officer was on patrol in the area of Lincoln St when he observed a Toyota sedan make a sudden turn into the parking lot of CVS. The officer ran the plate of the Toyota through the CJIS system, and it came back as “stolen.” The officer observed a female driver, identified as Sonia Bracero, thirty-eight-years-old of Auburn, and a male passenger, identified as Juan Gildelamadrid, forty-two-years-old of Bowdoin St. The officer called for assistance and waited, as Ms. Bracero entered CVS.
Mr. Gildelamadrid initially attempted to walk away but was stopped by the officers. He was placed under arrest for three outstanding warrants and Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle. Ms. Bracero was placed under arrest for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Use of a Motor Vehicle without Authority and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License. They will be arraigned in court.
