On September 20th, 2024, at about 12:50 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of Fiddler’s Green Pub on Temple St for a report of a past break. Upon arrival, officers cleared the building and confirmed that there had been an unauthorized entry and that items had been stolen.
As part of their investigation, officers viewed a video of the break. Approximately thirty minutes later, they located forty-three-year-old Lawrence Gaul of South Buffum St at the Worcester commons. Mr. Gaul was wearing the same clothes as the individual pictured in the video, and was identified by the officers as the person involved in the break-in. After further investigation, he was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime for a Felony, Vandalism, and Larceny Under $1200.
