At approximately 6:23 PM on September 22nd, 2024, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Crystal Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. Officers were greeted by several victims upon arrival. One of them explained that they were outside standing near a moped belonging to one of the victims when they were approached by some individuals wearing black ski masks and holding firearms. They stole the moped and left the scene.
A short time later, a vehicle belonging to the suspects was found parked on Grand Street. Two males were arrested. The moped was located and given back to its owner.
Eighteen-year-old Lucas Parent and twenty-one-year-old Willie Watson are charged with armed and masked robbery and seven counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.
