On January 4th, 2025, at approximately 10:17 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to an apartment on Chrome Street for a possible gunshot fired inside of the building.
Officers spoke with the reporting party who said she heard a loud bang and then observed a hole in her bedroom ceiling, which she showed the officers. Similar gunshot damage was found in another apartment. No injuries were reported. Officers were able to find the apartment where the gunshot was fired, along with a driver’s license belonging to the male suspect.
On January 5th, 2025, officers received information that the suspect, later identified as forty-five-year-old Scott Larabee, was inside of a business on Grafton Street. He was arrested without incident.
Larabee is charged with carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling and defacement of personal property.
