On December 5th at about 2:14 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Family Dollar at 205 Chandler St for a report of an alarm. Upon arrival, officers noticed that a store window was shattered, and a rock was next to the window. They investigated and found that items were stolen from the store. They were able to view surveillance footage, and viewed a male exit the store with several items.
On December 5th at about 11:55 PM, the same officer was on patrol in the area of Pleasant and Winslow St. He observed a male, later identified as fifty-two-year-old Robert Lallier of Ward St, who matched the male he saw in the video. The officer saw that Mr. Lallier was wearing exactly the same clothes that were pictured in the surveillance footage. Mr. Lallier was placed under arrest and is charged with Breaking and Entering at Nighttime for a Felony, Breaking into a Depository, Vandalism, Trespass and Larceny from a Building.
