On July 8th 2022 at about 4:25 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of Grove St for a report of someone breaking into cars. Upon arrival, officers checked the area and located a female walking around the area dressed all in black with a backpack. The female, identified as Ashley O’Conner, thirty-years-old of Holden, had an outstanding warrant and was taken into custody.
Officers conducted the preliminary investigation and found evidence that Ms. O’Conner had been breaking into vehicles in the area. A search of Ms. O’Conner’s possessions revealed several stolen items including a purse, a vaccination card, Mass licenses, and Social Security cards. Officers linked the items to car breaks that have been reported in the Salisbury St area over the past few days, and the items were returned to their owners. Ms. O’Conner is charged with her warrant, Breaking and Entering into a Vehicle in the Nighttime to Commit a Felony, and two counts of Receiving Stolen Property under $1200. She will be arraigned in court.
