On July 13th 2022 at about 12:20 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Sonia’s Auto Sales on Southbridge St for a report of a commercial alarm. Upon arrival, an officer could hear the alarm going off. As he walked around the building, he heard activity in its rear. The officer heard a car alarm begin to sound, and he observed a male running from the back of the building. The officer ordered the male, later identified as Anthony Enos, thirty-two-years-old of Abington, to stop, but Mr. Enos kept running.
Mr. Enos entered the vehicle that was emitting the alarm, and tried to start the car. The officer opened the door and pulled him from the vehicle. At this point, other officers arrived. Mr. Enos struggled and tried to pull away from the officers, but he was placed in handcuffs.
Officers observed two broken windows at Sonia’s Auto Sales. Mr. Enos is charged with Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime, Larceny from a Building, Attempt to Commit a Crime – Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Vandalism and Resisting Arrest. He will be arraigned in court.
