On October 13th, 2024, at about 8:45 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Alvarado Ave for a report of a past break. Earlier in the day, officers received call from residents in the area about a male who was attempting to break into houses. Officers arrived at the address and discovered that there was an open door and a broken window at the residence.
Officers discovered a male in the residence, later identified as fifty-two-year-old Derek Ashley of Fairmont Ave. Mr. Ashley had no legitimate reason to be in the residence, and was placed under arrest and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime To Commit a Felony and Vandalism.
