On October 30th, 2024, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Neighborhood Response Team were conducting surveillance in the area of Millbury St. At about noon, they observed a forty-five-year-old male named Daniel Bell who had active warrants for drug distribution. Officers placed Mr. Bell under arrest for the warrants.
As a result of an additional investigation, officers developed probable cause that Mr. Bell had sold crack cocaine. Officers recovered what appeared to be crack cocaine and what appeared to be suboxone from Mr. Bell, who is additionally charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance (second or subsequent offense), Possession of a Class B Substance with intent to Distribute, Withholding Evidence from a Criminal Proceeding, and Resisting Arrest.
