On May 27th 2024 at about 12:38 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of Madison St for a report of potential shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located evidence that a firearm had been discharged. At about 1:10 AM, officers were advised that a local hospital had a gunshot victim. Detectives arrived on scene and began the follow up investigation.
After an investigation, officers developed probable cause for the arrest of twenty-four-year-old Christopher Quiles of Bowdoin St. On 5/29/24 at about 5:15 PM, Worcester Police Gang Unit officers observed Mr. Quiles on Fremont St. When Mr. Quiles observed officers, he ran away, but officers caught up to him and he was placed under arrest.
He is charged with two counts of Armed Assault with intent to Murder, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Carrying a Firearm without a License, four counts of Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling, Witness Intimidation, Assault and Battery by Firearm, and Defacement of Property.
