On June 3rd 2022 at about 1:35 PM, a Worcester Police Gang Unit officer was on patrol in the area of Tacoma St and Constitution Ave when he observed a gray SUV going the wrong way down the one-way section of Constitution Ave. The officer pulled behind the vehicle and activated his blue lights and siren.
The officer spoke with the operator, Hector Pena, twenty-seven-years-old of Laurel St, and found that Mr. Pena’s driver’s license was suspended. There was also a front passenger, identified as Rachel Wyman, twenty-three-years-old of Leominster. Another officer pulled up, and they asked Mr. Pena to step out of the vehicle. Officers located a handgun and what appeared to be crack cocaine in the vehicle, and placed Mr. Pena and Ms. Wyman under arrest.
They are both charged with Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Possession of a Firearm while Committing a Felony, Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, Trafficking in a Class B Substance 100-199 Grams (Crack Cocaine). In addition, Mr. Pena is charged with Operating with a Suspended Driver’s License and a One Way Violation.
