On June 13th, 2024, at about 4:30 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of Vernon St for a report of a shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers located a twenty-four-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his arm. The officers rendered medical aid and the man was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The incident is currently under investigation, and does not appear to random in nature. The initial investigation revealed that the shooting appeared to have occurred during an agreed-upon meeting between men.
