On December 4th, 2024, at about 6 PM, Worcester Police detectives were searching for forty-seven-year-old Nehemias Montes, who had several active warrants related to unarmed robberies of convenience stores around the city. Detectives developed information that Mr. Montes was on a train inbound to Worcester. They waited at Union Station and located him on one of the trains. He was placed under arrest for his outstanding warrants. Detectives also located several bags of fentanyl on his person and he was additionally charged with Possession of a Class A Substance.
