On April 11, the Vice Squad and officers executed search warrants for Fentanyl and drug proceeds. Police conducted surveillance on an apartment on Ashmont Avenue. Suspects twenty-eight-year-old Daniel Brito-Alcantara and nineteen-year-old Haidan Jesus Segura were observed exiting the home. Both men were detained before officers entered their apartment and conducted a search. 106.4 grams of cocaine and 32.6 grams of Fentanyl were recovered in various rooms, along with items consistent with distributing drugs. Both men were placed under arrest without incident. They are charged with Trafficking Class B100-200 Grams, Trafficking Fentanyl Over 10 Grams and Trafficking Class A 18-36 grams.
