For Immediate Release: 5/10/2024 10:15 pm
On May 10th, 2024, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Crime Gun Intelligence Unit had a search warrant for a Main St address. The warrant was connected to an April incident involving an assault with a firearm.
At about 12:15 PM, officers entered the residence and detained thirty-two-year-old resident Corey Caraballo. In the residence, officers located what appeared to be cocaine, what appeared to be ammunition, and several white pills. Officers also located a realistic replica “starter” pistol, which was loaded with blank rounds. These items create the sound of gunfire and displays muzzle flash, which makes them appear to be functional weapons.
Mr. Caraballo was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (firearm), Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, and Possession of a Class B Substance.
