On Thursday, September 5, 2024, at approximately 1:18 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Lund Street for a report of an armed robbery. A male told officers that he was delivering pizza to an address on Lund Street when two males approached him and demanded money. One of the males had a firearm in his hand. The suspects left with cash. The delivery driver was not hurt.
This is the fourth armed robbery involving a pizza deliver driver in Worcester since August 12, 2024. These robberies are under investigation by the Detective Bureau.
