WORCESTER, Mass. – Municipal offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
On Friday, Nov. 29, the municipality will operate on a limited basis, and City Offices, including City Hall, will be closed to the general public.
Starting, Thursday Nov. 28, the municipality will not follow its regular schedule for trash and recycling pickup. The holiday will result in a delay be one day.
A full list of holidays that will result in a one-day delay for pickup, as well as a map and schedule of regular collection days, can be found at https://www.worcesterma.gov/trash-recycling/schedule.
Residents are advised to set recyclables and trash at the curb between 6 – 7:30 a.m. on their scheduled collection day. Full details about trash and recycling in Worcester, including a full list of what can and cannot be recycled, are available at worcesterma.gov/trash-recycling.
