WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester, in partnership with Tremont Development, formerly Boston Capital, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, July 16 to celebrate the opening of the District 120 apartment building, which offers 83 units of mixed-income affordable rental housing at the site of the former headquarters of Table Talk Pies at 120 Washington St. in Worcester.
The project is part of the larger mixed-use redevelopment of the four-acre site.
District 120 offers studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments at or below 30% and 60% of area median income.
WHO: Mayor Joseph M. Petty, City Councilor Candy Mero-Carlson, City Manager Eric D. Batista, Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities Secretary Edward M. Augustus Jr., Rich Mazzocchi of Tremont Development, and Nancy McCafferty of Massachusetts Housing Partnership.
