On August 16th 2023, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Vice Squad had a search warrant for four locations, including an Oxford address and three Worcester locations, including Family Ties Pizzeria on Millbury St. The target of the warrant was thirty-nine-year-old Elias Carmenatty of Oxford. After conducting surveillance, officers detained Mr. Carmenatty at about 11 AM, shortly after he entered Family Ties Pizzeria.
Officers found approximately thirty bags of what appeared to be crack cocaine on the person of Mr. Carmenatty. They discovered packaging materials, a bag of what appeared to be crack cocaine, and assorted drug paraphernalia at the other locations. Mr. Carmenatty was placed under arrest and is charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute of a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine).
