On September 14th 2022, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers possessed a search warrant for a Gage St apartment. Officers took up positions and began surveillance of the residence. At about 11:50 AM, the target of the warrant, Michael Brown, thirty-three-years-old left the residence and went to his vehicle. Officers stopped Mr. Brown in his vehicle on Gage St.
Officers located three plastic bags in plain view in the vehicle of what appeared to be heroin and Oxycodone pills. Mr. Brown was placed in handcuffs, and officers entered the residence. Inside, they located a large number of pills believed to be Percocet and a black handgun with ammunition.
Mr. Brown does not have a license to carry firearms and is charged with Trafficking in a Class A Substance (36-99 grams), Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Class A Substance with intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class B Substance with intent to Distribute, and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card. He will be arraigned in court.
