On July 26th 2022, the Worcester Police Department Vice Squad executed a search warrant after a lengthy investigation. Officers observed the target of the warrant, Ramon Mateo, thirty-six-years-old of Providence St, exit his residence at about 2 PM. They made entry to three locations and a vehicle, and recovered approximately 1300 grams of what appears to be fentanyl and approximately 700 pills believed to be fentanyl. Mr. Mateo was placed under arrest for Trafficking in Fentanyl over 200 Grams and will be arraigned in court.
