During the early morning hours on 3/21/25, members of the Vice Squad established surveillance of a Vale St address in anticipation of executing a search warrant at that address. The named target of the warrant was Michael Hoose, DOB 7/7/64. During surveillance, Vice Detectives observed that numerous lights were on in the apartment. At approximately 7 AM, Vice Detectives approached the address. Detectives made entry into the apartment. Michael Hoose Sr., Michael Hoose Jr., Felicia Durphy, and Nicholas Trotta were located in the apartment.
After gaining entry, all occupants were secured. Michael Hoose Sr. quickly informed detectives that he would give them an envelope with $10,000 if they would just go away. A thorough search of the apartment was then conducted. As a result, approximately 650 bags of fentanyl totaling approximately 150 grams, packaging materials, scales, ammunition, and $226,430 in currency were recovered. Detectives also recovered numerous suspected stolen catalytic convertors.
Michael Hoose Sr, was charged with Trafficking in a Class A Substance (Fentanyl) 100-199 grams, Possession of Ammunition w/out FID, Receiving Stolen Property over $1,200, Bribery, and Intimidation of a Witness. Michael Hoose Jr. was charged with Trafficking Class A (Fentanyl) 100-199, Possession Ammunition w/out FID, and Receiving Stolen Property over $1,200. Felicia Durfee was charged with Trafficking Class A (Fentanyl) 100-199. Nicholas Trotta was also arrested for several outstanding warrants.
