On May 26th 2022, the Worcester Police Vice Squad had a search warrant for a Vernon St apartment. Officers observed the target of the warrant, Luis Molina-Serrano, thirty-years-old, leave his apartment in a vehicle. Officers knew that Mr. Molina-Serrano did not have an active driver’s license, and stopped him near his residence.
Officers executed the search warrant at the empty residence. Officers found multiple bags of what appeared to be fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and packaging materials, a loaded handgun with a defaced serial number, and ammunition.
Mr. Molina-Serrano was placed under arrest and is charged with Trafficking in a Class A Substance (Fentanyl) Over 100 Grams, Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, 5 counts of Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Possession of a Firearm with a Defaced Serial Number During a Felony, and Improper Storage of a Firearm Near a Minor. He will be arraigned in court.
