The Worcester Police Department will hold a promotion ceremony at 4:15 PM on today, at City Hall in the Levi Lincoln Chamber. City Manager Eric Batista, Mayor Joseph M. Petty, Councilor Kate Toomey, Chair of Public Safety and Chief Steven M. Sargent will preside over the ceremony. During the ceremony, the officers will take their oaths before family members and colleagues.
Sgt. Joseph Albano will be promoted to Lieutenant.
Officer Miguel Diaz will be promoted to Sergeant.
Officer George Adams will be promoted to Sergeant.
Officer Steven Bonczek will be promoted to Sergeant.
Officer Angel Miranda will be promoted to Sergeant.
Officer David Rojas will be promoted to Sergeant
