On October 26th 2023 at about 12:30 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to 7-Eleven on Park Ave for a report of an unarmed robbery. Officers spoke to witnesses and determined that a male entered the store, began to shoplift, and punched the clerk in the face multiple times. The suspect ran away on foot and officers began to check the area.
Officers found a male on Park Ave, identified as twenty-eight-year-old Trezor Twakiramungu of Howe St, who matched the description given by witnesses. Officers investigated further and developed probable cause for the arrest of Mr. Twakiramungu, who was charged with Unarmed Robbery. The stolen items were returned to the store.
