On December 13th, 2024 at about 10:10 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Grand St for a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male in the middle of the road. Paramedics arrived and transported this gunshot victim to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Officers spoke with a male, identified as twenty-four-year-old Givenchy Smith of South Lenox St. Officers developed probable cause for the arrest of Mr. Smith in connection with the shooting. He was placed under arrest for Armed Assault to Murder.
