On January 21st 2023 at about 1:25 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to a North St address for a report of a business dispute that resulted in someone being struck with a firearm. Officers received information that a male, identified as Michael Harris, twenty-eight-years-old of Mount Ave, had an argument with another male about the price of a dumpster rental. Officers received information that Mr. Harris pulled out a black handgun in a threatening manner during the argument and struck the male victim with the firearm. He also kicked and struck the male’s vehicle. Officers were told that Mr. Harris went back to his vehicle after the incident.
Officers placed Mr. Harris in handcuffs and located a loaded black handgun after searching the vehicle. Mr. Harris does not have a license to carry firearms. He is charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (Firearm), Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Firearm), Vandalism, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Improper Storage of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
