On May 15th, 2024, at about 11:15 AM, a Worcester Police sergeant called for assistance with a fight at the front of Union Station. Officers responded and observed a thirty-five-year-old male who was bleeding from the face. They separated the people involved, and investigated the fight.
Officers determined that twenty-nine-year-old Ahjee Keyon Damon had attacked the victim and kicked the victim in the head multiple times. As officers were investigating the incident, they found out that Mr. Damon had an active warrant for his arrest. Officers attempted to place Mr. Damon under arrest, but Mr. Damon attempted to flee and struggled with officers. He was eventually placed in handcuffs.
After he was arrested, officers recovered several bags of what appeared to be a class A substance from him. In addition, officers recovered several rocks of what appeared to be crack cocaine from Mr. Damon. He was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (shod foot), Possession of a Class A Substance with intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class B Substance, and Resisting Arrest.
