On August 12, 2024, at approximately 12:45 AM, Worcester Police officers on Millbury Street observed a female remove something from her right pants pocket. A male was then observed leaning forward and putting something inside of the door of a residence. The woman then placed something on a window ledge, which the male retrieved.
Officers stopped the male buyer who admitted having crack in his pocket, which he voluntarily handed over to the officers. He will be summonsed to court.
Officers then spoke with the female, who was identified as forty-four-year-old Jamie Gervais. Officers told her what they observed and asked her if she had any more narcotics. She removed a knotted plastic bag containing Fentanyl from one of her pockets and retrieved crack cocaine from her person.
Gervais was arrested and is charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance (crack), Possession of a Class B Substance (crack) with Intent to Distribute and Possession of a Class A substance (Fentanyl) with Intent to Distribute.
