On April 13th, 2024, at about 3:50 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to 7 Eleven on Main St for a report of a holdup alarm. Upon arrival, officers determined that a male reached over the counter and stole cash out of the register. There was a brief struggle when the cashier tried to stop him. The male fled on foot before entering a vehicle. Officers were able to confirm that this occurred, and went out to look for the male.
Later in the day at about 11:45 AM, the same officer was working an off-duty assignment in the area of Main St when he observed a male he recognized from the surveillance footage earlier in the day. The officer approached the male and ordered him to stop. The male, later identified as forty-seven-year-old Keith Glover of Worcester, took off running. After a short foot pursuit Mr. Glover was taken into custody. He is charged with Unarmed Robbery.
