On March 29th 2023 at about 11 AM, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Neighborhood Response Team were conducting surveillance in the area of Beacon and Oread St when they observed a female give what appeared to be paper money to a male, identified as Michael LeBeouf, forty-four-years-old of Benefit St. Mr. LeBeouf took the money and a vehicle pulled up. Officers observed Mr. LeBeouf reach into the vehicle and hand a small item to the female. Mr. LeBeouf then entered the passenger’s side of the vehicle, which drove away.
Officers stopped the female and discovered what appeared to be crack cocaine. Other officers followed the vehicle, which pulled into a gas station on Southbridge St. Officers detained the driver of the vehicle, who was identified as Liam Prifti, twenty-eight-years-old of Westborough. They observed what appeared to be crack cocaine inside the vehicle. Mr. LeBeouf was located inside the gas station and detained.
After searching the vehicle and the two individuals, officers discovered bags of what appeared to be crack cocaine and bags of what appeared to be Fentanyl. Officers discovered a box of ammunition in the vehicle and Mr. Prifti does not have a license to carry firearms.
Mr. LeBeouf was placed under arrest for Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws. Mr. Prifti was placed under arrest for Distribution of a Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine), Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class A Substance with intent to Distribute (Fentanyl), and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
