On November 13th, 2024, at about 1:22 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of South St for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers investigated and discovered evidence that shots had been fired.
At about 6 PM, officers assigned to the Worcester Police Gang Unit and the Crime Gun Intelligence Unit had a search warrant for a South St address in connection with the shots fired incidents. The eighteen-year-old target of the search warrant, who already had arrest warrants for gun-related crimes, exited the residence and was detained by officers. Officers recovered a loaded handgun from his person.
In the residence, officers located another handgun and ammunition. The male was arrested for his existing warrants. He was additionally charged with Armed Assault to Murder in connection with today’s incident, and several charges in connection with possession of the firearms recovered.
