On June 12th 2024 at about 6:30 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of the downtown bus hub for a reported ShotSpotter activation. Upon arrival, officers were flagged down and located a male shooting victim. There was a large crowd present and the scene was chaotic. The male was given medical aid and transported to the hospital by ambulance. Officers checked the area and detectives arrived to process the scene and begin the follow-up investigation.
