On October 3rd 2023 at about 9:30 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Crystal St for a ShotSpotter activation. Upon arrival, officers discovered a forty-seven-year-old male gunshot victim with serious injuries. The male was given medical aid and transported to the hospital by ambulance. Detectives arrived and began the follow-up investigation.
