On April 19th, 2024, a Worcester Police officer was assigned to a Task Force with the DEA, Massachusetts State Police, and Worcester County Sheriff’s Office. The officer took part in a joint investigation with the task force and the United States Postal Inspection Service. As a result of the investigation, officers stopped a vehicle on Vernon St operated by thirty-two-year-old Yeimy Holguin of Paine St.
Officers located a large amount of what appeared to be cocaine in Ms. Holguin’s vehicle. She was placed under arrest for Trafficking in a Class B Substance over 200 Grams.
