On June 24th, 2024, at about 9:36 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of 243 Lincoln St for a report of a child struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers observed a small crowd and a female toddler who had been struck by a vehicle after running out into the street. A nurse on scene, firefighters, and police officers rendered medical aid until the girl was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The Crash Reconstruction Unit arrived to further investigate.
The one-year-old victim is in stable condition and is being treated for a head injury.
