The Worcester Police Department announced intermittent traffic control and anticipated traffic delays on Saturday, April 23, 2022 beginning at approximately 10 AM for the Autism 5K. The race starts at 10 AM and begins and ends at Polar park. The race will flow through the downtown area including the areas of Main St., Myrtle St., Green St area. Please note that no streets will be closed (Church St. may be closed temporarily but will have emergency access). Buses will not be affected. The race is expected to last an hour.
The Worcester Police Department is advising drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians to take extra care to obey the rules of the road and to be considerate of others traveling on local streets.
