For Immediate Release: 2/9/2021 11:31 am
Due to the current weather forecast, the Commissioner of Public Works and Parks has determined that a Declared Winter Parking Ban will be in effect Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m.
During the Declared Winter Parking Ban, there is No Parking on either side of main arteries, bus routes, and streets in the downtown area. On all other streets, parking is only permitted on the odd numbered side of the street, unless otherwise posted.
City of Worcester Public Parking Garages will be open for parking free of charge during this Declared Winter Parking Ban. Vehicles entering the Public Parking Garages will not be charged providing they enter the garages while the parking ban is in effect.
In an effort to improve the safety of our roadways, parking enforcement — including ticketing and towing — will be active during the Declared Winter Parking Ban.
