Worcester, MA (May 9, 2016) - Workforce Central Career Centers, in collaboration with the DCU Center, are hosting their 6th annual job fair on Friday, May 13th, 2016 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DCU Center, which is located at 50 Foster Street, Worcester MA. Whether you're hoping to find a better job or transition into a new career, job seekers will find an array of employment opportunities at this free event. A variety of employers from the public and private sectors will be present and eager to hire for immediate openings in a wide range of fields. Employment industries include, but are not limited, to healthcare, construction, bioresearch, medical, retail and education.
"At Workforce Central Career Centers, we are continuing our efforts to provide an array of resources and programs to assist both employers and job seekers. Our annual job fair at The DCU continues to be the largest offered in Central MA," Director Janice Ryan Weekes said. "This year we will have close to 140 participating companies including Mass Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), UMass Memorial Medical Center, Inc. and Worcester Public Schools. Our collaboration with the DCU Center allows us to offer this event at one of Worcester's premier venues."
The mission of the Workforce Central Career Centers in Worcester, Southbridge and Milford is to be a regional resource for easily accessible, high quality workforce development support services, and relevant information for employers, jobseekers and community partners.
